Yesterdays Tomorrow
We met a long time ago. I came across her lying down in a field of flowers with a big canvas. She was meticulously drawing the tiny weeds and grasses growing there. I felt an immediate connection to this girl Elviga, and I just knew we would become good friends. We love to go on long walks in the forest, and just recently we decided to go on one of those adventures. Elviga wore a funky orange poncho, well, just because......l brought my camera and she brought her open mind. Taking a page from Rebecca Solnit's book "A Field Guide to Getting Lost" we always endeavour to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. We never know what is going to happen, but something interesting always does. On one of our previous walks it had started to rain, a warm summer rain. We hadn't prepared for that, and we got
completely soaked. And as we walked this time, I could still feel that warm rain.......
Does the past still exist? Has the future already happened?
